Material disposal & recycling
Australia’s target to recycle or reuse 80% of waste by 2030 will require the country to significantly increase the rate of resource recovery.
Currently, construction and demolition produces the second largest amount of waste by sector.
At Norville Quarries, we are committed to sustainable construction practices through our combined material disposal and recycling services. Whether you’re managing a small site clean-up or a large-scale civil project, we offer reliable solutions for the loading, removal, transport, and responsible handling of spoil and recyclable materials.
Our accepted waste streams include:
- Concrete: We accept clean & dirty concrete/building and demolition waste. Must not contain any other material and must be less than 700mm x 700mm in size.
- Dirty – This is segregated concrete with more than 10% fines or dirt from building and demolition waste with no other material such as light rubbish.
- Bricks & Tiles: Clean segregated bricks from building and demolition waste. Must not contain any other material.
- Asphalt: Profiling or ripped up asphalt. This is hot mix from the top of the road construction and refurbishments.
- Waste Soils: Waste soil can consist of soil, clay, rock, sand or other natural mineralogical matter and minor amounts of naturally occurring inclusions such as vegetation and organic matter but should not contain other wastes.
